Welcome to TVTM Cross Country, we are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has been in existence for 30 years. We are very excited to work with you and your child(ren) this season. Below are answers to a few question you may have. Please feel free to contact any of the staff members should you have additional questions.
What Does my Child’s Registration Cover?
Registration covers USATF membership for the year, meet fees, our end of year team party and a few misc club expenses.
When is Practice?
Practices will normally be held Monday, Wednesday, Thursday of each week from 6-7:30 pm.
Please be on-time bringing your children and picking them up. This is a courtesy to the coaches. We begin each day with two warm up laps and then on to the plyo-metric warm ups. It slows down the rhythm of the warm ups if your child is late. End of practice is between 7pm to 7:30 depending the child’s age and the planned workout. Please be on time.
Can Parents Run During Practice?
Yes, we highly encourage parents to join us. Look at it as a great way to get in-shape with your child, and we need as many eyes out there as possible when running various trails etc.
How Long are the Meets?
Expect to be at the meet for as many as 8 Hours. Younger runners usually run first. The younger your child the earlier you will be done however, it’s not required but we try to support all of the team members as often as possible

In most cases it is a rolling schedule and can change on the day of the meet depending on meet management. We do not have an accurate answer for you.
How do I sign my child up for meets?
Once we receive the meet flier you should receive an email. Simply respond to the email as to whether or not you will be in attendance
What do I need to bring to the meets?
Healthy food for you and your child, plenty of water, healthy snacks, sun block, lawn chairs. Be sure to bring two pair of shoes. There is a course walk and then the actual race. Sometimes the course may be muddy.
